Young Mayor
I have read in the newspaper about a young mayor living in Roland City.
Now arises the question: Is a young person able to be a mayor ?
Some People say that a young mayor has no experience, so he can fall wrong decisions.
Or a young mayor is not confident.
For example when a young mayor is too nervous presenting new solutions for city problems.
This nervousness shows the audience that he has weaknesses, but ay mayour should not have it.
On the other hand a young mayor can be very dynamic, because young people are often mor flexibler than older people.
He can work very hard, so the population profit from him.
Knowing the interests from younger people, a young mayor make decisions for the teenagers.
For example the city council do not know if they should build a museum or skater park, the young mayor intercede (sich einsetzen) for building the skater park.
To put it all in a nutshell, i cannot decide me me between a young or old mayor.
Both age-classes have disadvantages and advantages.
I only want to give you a help for your decision.

Einführung (introduction):
"In der Einführung wird die eigene Meinung bzw. Position des Verfassers präsentiert. Außerdem wird oft der Anlass oder Hintergrund des Textes angegeben." [1]
I read an article in .the newspaper about a young mayor John living in Roland City. I read about what a Young Mayor is, why and how John became a Young Mayor. I also learn what his priorities are for the local area and what he thinks about young people and politics. But in my view becoming young mayor is a great opportunity although it is not easy.
Mittelteil I (development):
Im Mittelteil werden die Argumente und Beweise für die Position des Autors vorgebracht.
In a borough with one of the youngest populations in Britain, it makes sense to have an elected representative for young people. With this in mind, Roland City, in which a lot of the population is under 18, has begun a contest to elect its first young mayor.
Critics of becoming young mayor give three reasons for their opinion. (experience, wrong decisions, confident).To beginn with experience. Many people thing a young mayor has not experience. ...
Schlussfolgerung (Conclusion):
"Der letzte Absatz besteht aus einer Wiederholung der eigenen Position, oft mit einer Zusammenfassung der wichtigsten Gründe, die zu dieser Meinung geführt haben." [1]
